Albion Residence

Located in central Woodside, this project began with the careful restoration of a 1924 log cabin—sourcing authentic, period-appropriate materials and adapting the structure for daily use. With that phase complete, the new home was constructed just behind it, seamlessly blending into the town’s rural character. Lightly washed cedar, oversized wood windows, and a soft grey metal roof lend the look of a barn or old schoolhouse, while the simple, informal floor plan maintains a subtle and timeless feel. Warm grey concrete floors, whitewashed oak cabinetry, and limestone tile baths add to the understated elegance. French doors open to surrounding terraces, filling the interior with the dappled light of the surrounding woods.
