Originally commissioned by attorney Allen Chickering Jr. and designed by architect William W. Wurster (with landscaping by Thomas Church), this Woodside home was built in 1941. Brookstone Builders preserved the property’s historic architectural significance while modernizing it to reflect the current owner’s unique style. Working within Wurster’s original design envelope, we updated the home’s efficiency, comfort, and functionality—balancing respect for the past with the practical needs of today.
